Iraq mourns victims of Baghdad suicide bombing (Iraq began three days of national mourning)
9:16 PM
More carnage and bloodshed occurred over the weekend,... this time in Iraq. Baghdad became the latest victim of a series of terror attacks carried out by ISIS during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The Iraqi government has declared a three-day period of national mourning. We begin with Kim Mok-yeon. At least 130 people were killed and almost 200 others injured after a suicide bomber detonated his truck bomb in Baghdad's Karrada district. The area was busy with families late at night, shopping ahead of the Eid al-Fitr -- the day that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan this week. At least four buildings were severely damaged, and several cars were destroyed by the sheer power of the blast.
